Dermoid Sinus in the Rhodesian Ridgeback

This site has been created for those lay persons interested in the dermoid sinus before, during and after surgery. Most of the dogs shown here are living happy, normal lives.

Please be forewarned that these pages contain very graphic photos of surgery on Rhodesian Ridgeback (both pure bred and mixed breed) dogs who were afflicted with the congenital defect of a Dermoid Sinus

Unless otherwise noted, all photographs were taken by and remain the property of Elizabeth Akers
